Choosy or Ignorant
Since i started my current pond earlier this year and have it stocked.
I adore the following.
Yamabuki Ogon.
Aka Matsuba.
Gin Matsuba.
..
I have the top two but have struggled to find a nice Gin Matsuba.
The full colour and the cone pattern is what caught my eye over the showa and sanke...
Anybody else feel the same....

Choosy or Ignorant
Its always each to there own ant i am fond of most varieties but ive recently lost a yamabuki and now the pond seems lost without it. To say the least i am on the hunt for another yamabuki now love them. For me they are like chags every pond should have one
As for matsuba's i also like them but prefer kujaku which is very similar as they was created from matsuba
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIts always a work in progress

Looks like next year now before any more koi purchases....
Cant find what im looking for.....
Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
