Anyone here ever used orchard netting to cover their ENTIRE garden?
We all know birds and cats can be a nightmare for koi-keepers, and loads of people resort to placing nets or metal grids over their ponds, which works but spoils the look of the pond.
Have any of you ever tried netting your entire garden, by suspending orchard nets from poles attached to the garden walls/fences?
It's a bit drastic, but, done right, I'm wondering if it might actually be less intrusive than netting the pond on its own, and possibly more effective at keeping all & sundry predators entirely out of the garden.

To be honest I don't have a problem with birds or cats but there is always a risk of a heron visit , if herons were a distinct threat then netting your garden might not be a bad idea

Someone near me has done that, using cargo netting.
Looks awful from afar, probably looks OK when stood under it by the pond.
