Pond testing kits
Hi
Im in need of a digital pond tester. Can you adivse me on some i need it to measure ph/ ammonia / nitrate / kh i dont know of any so any advice would realy help me and the fish out. Im fed up of useing the colour charts i want proper measurements. Thsnkd

the only one i can find is the seneye tester but that only test the ph/nh/water temp just dose my headin following the charts i never know if my ph swing is high or low also its only £110

You could get some of the Hanna pocket checkers? They do one for each parameter. They're about £40 - £60 each.
You could get a 2nd hand Hanna C203 for between £80 - £200 but then you have to shell out for all the reagents.
There's loads of digital pH testers available. It's just a case of establishing which are best value.
Might be worth seeing which Manky Sanke reccommends.
Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
