Portable vat
Does anyone have a reasonable sized vat for sale as moving and only have a350 gallon tank so looking for something bigger not looking forward to it at all lol

what about a intex swimming pool. They do a 10' or 12' round and about 30" deep. You should be able to pick one up from eBay for a good price at this time of year.

I had my fish in one of those for a good few weeks in the winter a few years ago ( due to a leak )
and they were fine, think they preferred it to the pond

mine went two years almost in a workshop in a bestway metal framed pool, 2m * 3m, aside from a slight algae tide line it was in good enough condition after to be boxed ready for the small people to use next year
they are often listed very cheap and they are from what i have seen well built, it was just on a bit of carpet on the concrete floor, no extra insulation aside from being in a unheated workshop with all the windows openthe slow pond build thread

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
