Closing down (koi & filtration, everything must go)
I’m looking to close down/mothball my pond so I’m looking to get rid of all my fish and equipment, not looking to sell individual fish or items, just want the lot gone in one hit so it’s an ideal opportunity for anyone who’s building/just built a pond setup and is looking for a decent filtration setup, all the filters, pumps,uv,auto feeder, test kits, meds, scope - pretty much everything you’ll need to get up and running.
As pictured there is a nexus220 with a Draco drum fitted.
Evolution aqua 55 uv.
Evolve 3 tier shower (the larger size one) complete with 30kg’s of Sakura far infrared media.
Aqua forte dm vario 30000 main pump.
Superfish 8000 secondary pump for skimmer line.
Matsuko switch box.
Cloverleaf auto feeder.
Apex practitioner scope.
80cm measuring bowl, koi sock, large pan net & handle, jewellers scales, Colombo water test kit, TDS and temp meter, various treatments.
The fish pictured are just some of what’s in the pond (probably not even half to be fair), and by no means the biggest either!, most are now Japanese and from known dealers like queni/absolute etc, all nice fish from breeders like maruhiro/sekiguchi/marudo/omasako etc (don’t know all the breeders, non with certs)
Off the top of my head, there are 2-3 showa, 2 shiros ( smaller one from omasako, bought when we had the grow & show at absolute, it’s the fish pictured), one utsuri (pictured), karashigoi (pictured, think it’s marudo, bought from Darren at absolute), couple of matsuba (kin and aka iirc), chagoi from maruhiro, purachina, couple of ochiba (one pictured which was an expensive fish for its size from ofuchin I think, bought from kitsukoi), one ghostie, yamabuki ogon, kuhaku, shusui, kujaku, one or two more that I’ve forgotten what breed they are
There’ll be a box full of elbows, t pieces, ball valves etc to suit 1.5”, and some spare 1.5” pressure pipe as well as a few 2” fittings and some pipe used for the main pump.
Still have the easy for the nexus which you can swap back to if needs be.
Looking for around £1800 for the lot if you’re interested, there’ll be over that in fish alone I reckon. I’m based in chesterfield,Derbyshire, pm for more details or if you want to arrange to view the items/fish.
Again - don’t want to sell individual pieces or fish, and until the fish are gone the filtration will have to stay in place as the pond is still currently up and running.
Cheers
Matt

As an addition I am willing to split the fish off apart from the rest of the stuff, but I still want to try and sell them as a bulk lot in one go!
Anyone that’s interested I’ll try and get them all photographed this weekend (if it ever stops raining) and I’d take £500 for all the fish , buyer would need to bring there own bags/boxes/oxygen as I don’t have any.
FYI there’s well in excess of that amount in fish, and whilst there no the biggest of fish there are some nice fish, definitely a bargain to anyone - even if you’re just looking to flip em and try and make a profit!

With the above in mind I’m looking for around £1300 for the rest of the gear (all the filtration/food/sundries etc) but obviously this cannot go until the fish are gone to new homes!
Hell if you’re even slightly handy and want/need a place to put all this stuff I’ll even chuck in the shed that it’s all in if you don’t mind taking it down and rebuilding it at your end ( not joking as the front will have to come off anyway to get the filter out!)

Sorry to see you're shutting down mate, enjoyed your contributions on here.
If I lived closer I'd take the whole lot, and the shed, and flip what I didn't need, but would feel a but guilty as there's a lot of good stuff there and it's too cheap.
Someone doing that would end up with the draco for free.

Well all the fish have now gone so I’m looking at an empty pond considering my options.

I'm in the market for a drop in Draco.... Logistics probably make it impossible as I'm 5 hours away from you, but thought I'd mention it in case of a miracle.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
