    Koi to move on

As I am overstocked I have 6 koi at 22inch want £80 per fish. My main concern is that somebody will join the forum, snap up a deal then never to be heard of again, even worse not look after then. I have had a similar situation when I sold equipment cheap trying to be fair to members, somebody joined, bought, then disappeared from the forum.I just want the fish to go to a good home and be looked after. Pond kept at 14 deg C will post pics

Even if they do disappear thatís not to say they will be mistreated. Unfortunately whoever you sell them too you will never really know what happens to them, itís out of your control

if you want some sort of peace of mind then only sell to members who have been on a while and maybe posted a few times, although this cant guarantee the health of your fish,i once gave a big fish i'd had for years to my brother in law, only a mirror but a nice one and a few weeks later asked him how it was doing and he just said oh its dead, trusty heron had been and pecked it,even though 2 month before i had given him a net to put over,he hadnt got round to it,so you can never guarantee, you can only hope, get some photos up,i may have a look as my new pond now seems flamin empty lol, andi if your really bothered about welfare you could deliver them yourself and have a nosey at buyers ponds hehe

Cheers Ian, very good to know. Itíll be spring when Iím ready but Iíll drop you a line nearer the time just in case.

Iíve got 6 Koi coming in spring; 5 I already have in another pond, and one Koi from elsewhere thatís being held for me and plenty more space for some additions!

Would be more than happy to hold them until spring. If anyone wants a trip out to sunny Rochdale if you want 5hem a small deposit will be fine to hold them.My main priority is that they are well looked after in the future. Private message me for arrangements

Hi Andi these koi are described as when I bought them or maybe my memory does not serve me right. The one described as a doitsu is all white with only a few scales. These 2 may be just shy of 22 inch but the others certainly are, the coping stones are 22 inch to give you a good idea. A member has arranged to visit on Sunday so will give him first dibs. Please contact me via PM if you want to arrange a visit after Sunday or if you want to discuss in finer detail
    Thanks

Hi all just to be clear that the fish I would like to move are from a mixed stock of Koi, most are Israili, some are English bread and I also have a couple of Japnease Koi. I can not be certain of their origin but I am pretty sure they are either English or Israili bread. The last fish I added was about 4 years ago, everything has been very stable with the set up.
    Thanks
    Ian
