Well the Hi Utsuri & Kohaku are safely installed in their new home and looking like they have always been there.

I have seldom had as stressful a journey though - the Hi Utsuri got so stressed on being bagged that he/she shed blood from her gills - all the way home I was imagining having to jump in the pond and hold a lifeless koi over the air dome - didn't need to worry though - when I opened the box she was vey much alive and had a good try at breaking her way out. Once released she was swimming with the others within seconds and feeding within 5 mins.

All the koi are lovely - The tancho sanke in particular is gorgeous - the photo does it no favors at all - someone needs to get in quick, before I loose my resolve and jump back in the car and pick her up ( I really don't have room sadly)

Many thanks Stuart - and good luck with the rest of the sales and with your future ventures.

    Pip

Glad to hear both made it back safely although Phil had a bit of a nightmare journey by all accounts. I'm really pleased both sets of fish have settled in well and hope they give you as much pleasure as they have for me.

Some more photo's of the koi still available ……

I collected the Ochiba at the weekend, and also took the Shusui as well. Waterdog's set up is pristine, and the photos really don't do his fish any justice, they were far better than I had anticipated. Well worth a look. Really pleased with both fish. Thank you.

    Thanks LJM,

Really nice to meet you and I'm glad the fish have gone to a good home.

Only three left now, the harawake, doitsu sanke and 50+cm sushui that has a damaged scale but is healing nicely.

Sushui now sold, only the hariwake and doitsu sanke left, I don't understand why these two are the last to go, both are lovely fish.
