FREE - Three Japanese Koi (pond fillers)
Hi,
If anyone is interested I have three koi available. These are koi purchased as tosai / nisai last year, all from Absolute Koi. I purchase all my koi from AK and very happy with all of them but these are not where I'm at right now so looking to give away.
1. Doitsu Sanke (Hiroi) - has very recently lost most of its beni
2. Showa (Momotaro) - lacks sumi for me but not lost any colour
3. Showa (Isa) - lost a lot of its sumi (it came back and has since gone again)
I have not measured but all between about 30cm and 40cm. I currently have no issues in my pond (drum / K1 set up) and temp is 15C.
I do not have bags / oxygen here I'm afraid.
PM me if interested.
HI, I live near Bourne in South Lincolnshire.
Thanks.
ian.

Hi ian, if im remembering right the isa is from the same batch as mine and one of adams from absolute? Mine has gone very much the same way as yours has, sumi almost all gone. The beni on it is very good now though and its at 50cm so im going to give mine this next year and see where its at, if no joy by then i will move it on. Shame really as when i bought it at tosai its pattern was looking to be a cracking one. Oh well, win some and lose some i suppose hope you find good homes for them mate

Hi,
No but I do have another three I am looking to move on. These are:
- a rather wide and chunky c. 45 to 50cm chagoi (private sale)
- a 35cm doitsu showa (it is currently has a small patch of fin rot on its right pec but being treated - I would not pass this koi on until treated) (absolute koi)
- a c. 40cm ochiba (absolute koi)
I have not bowled these koi up as yet but if you or anyone is interested, please PM me and I'll sort some photos.
Thanks.
Ian.

Evening Ian did you get chance to take some pictures over the weekend?
Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
