Oh right so obviously no harm to the fish then no wonder I couldn’t find what parasites it was lol
I’ve scraped nearly all my fish this evening and found no alive parasites so why are my fish so stressed...? Lots of red veins and red fins, lost of flashing and jumping..?
Bit more info on my pond. It’s 2800gal 10 year old, with a bead filter that’s been converted to 100lt of k1 then it runs through a rota shower via a 13000lt per hour pump. My top up water is filtered.
I have just used a friends digital ph tester and the ph is saying 9.1. My ammonia is giving a reading of 0 but with a high ph and water temps of 14oC I would only need a small trace of ammonia according to the chart below before it became toxic to the fish so I wonder is this is the problem?

I have posted with the same issue, awaiting replies.
Seriously need to bring the ph down.
But check and compare with first thing in the morning.
You are likely to have the same water as me so out the tap at 8ph.
Drops in ph should be gradual, but you need to get cracking.
Have a read of mankys web page.

I remember my pond being high last year as well it was about 8.5 in the morning then 9 in the afternoon. Don’t understand why because it doesn’t have any bricks in or concrete in the water making it go high, yeah my tap water is around 8 as well mate

Are your fish flashing all the time or have you noticed it after feeding?
do you have a trickle in/out running?

They flash with or without food I’ve not fed today and I just managed to press record in time to catch one doing it(in video below), also I have a ogan that brings its head out the water then goes to the bottom and let’s air bubbles out of its gills. I do have a very small amount trickling in because I have a small leak but I would only estimate about 5% of the water a day and its filtered via this is the pic...

could be chlorine. do you put ST ( sodium thiosulphate )in the pond to counter the chlorine. I have a 3 pod dechlorinator and I still put ST in the pond as a lot of us on here don t trust them on there own. get some dpd 4 tablets and test your water for chlorine. I tested my pod and it let chlorine through. that's why I add ST. I still use my pod though. for metals .
how is your PH is it still swinging up and down. that could have something to do with flashing.

On reading this I was thinking the same as Fred, presume you havnt any sodium thiosulphate if not get some dechlorinater,i dont trust those cartridge dechlorinaters as had the same problem a few years back.
S/t is dosed as per Mankys site and you can read up on dpd4 tablets which will let you know if you have chlorine in your water.
They can all be had on ebay but while waiting if you can get some de-chlorinater locally.
I can get you some links if your having problems.
Good luck and keep in touch with your progress.John
