I know some dont like salt but this time it has worked for me and what ever problem he had . It's just always the right treatment for the right problem I guess. Thanks

So it's back again . Scales aren't raised yet but lump is about the size of a golf ball. Load bigger than before salt in tank again as it helped last time but now really wondering how to stop not just help

So the lump has come and gone a few times since start of the thread came back yesterday swimming eating every thing fine this morning went out come back to find I had lost him lump seems to have popped and left a hole in side

Sorry you've lost him mate.
Looking at that lump, never seen anything quite like that before, its a really odd shape. Think you did really well to keep him going this long.
There's some important body parts in that area, like heart and liver etc. Whatever the lump was it might have had an effect on those parts. The rest of him looks really healthy.
