    Right at the end it does appear to resemble chillo but its very difficult to say 100% with the poor quality video

    Yeah the video is pretty rubbish, but I don't have a camera for my scope and was surprised I could get anything with my phone.

    So if this is chilo. What are the best options?

    I used Colombo alparex last time and it done the trick. The only problem was it took me a week to increase the kh enough for the treatment.

    I'm guessing formalin and malachite green, but is a high level of kh required for this also? I need it dealt with asap so all suggestions welcome.

    I live in a very soft water area with very little kh from the tap if this effects your treatment of choice. I know this isn't an ideal way to run a pond but not on a meter so have a constant trickle going.
