Water parameters look ok, very little mucus but just managed to do a scrape:

Only found 1, think it’s a fluke, as can see the hooks?

Fish is unable to right itself, got it in a bowl with an air stone, don’t know what else to do.

Can’t scrape anymore fish until tomorrow

Looks like fluke you got any salt you could salt bath fish that’s unable to right itself I use 5 ounce per gallon in an aerated bowl for as long as it can tolerate it and to treat flukes I use flubenol 5% and acetone in pond others may have a different opinion

Thanks, but the fish is completely on its side now & not looking good, would a salt bath be worth doing at this stage?

    Hi,

Thanks but after a 10 min salt bath, fish was struggling so took it out…

Don’t think it’s long for this world.

Strange how something got hold so quick, was ok yesterday …

Only found 1 fluke on the whole scrape so I’m not convinced it was just that

    Help

    Scraped 4 more fish:
    1st: found 1 Tric
    2nd: nothing
    3rd: 2 Tric
    4th: Nothing

Not sure what to do, sounds stupid but was hoping to find something obvious so I could sort it…

Water parameters from API test kit

    PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0 (maybe a small amount as not completely yellow)
    Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 40 ( not far off my source tap water)

Unsure what to do now, hardly overrun with parasites are they?

P.S not sure how old kujaku was, as inherited from a pond closure 2 years ago

Yeah seems an odd one then mate as doesnt sound overun but maybe look at treating for the trich. Do you have any dirt traps anywhere in the system? E.g dead legs or dead spots in the filtration? Trich love crud

Have had some spawning nets in for a week, so could have been some shit in them, I’ve had Tric a couple of times & always used PP, but I have 2 sturgeon, normally separate them when treating but they both are nearly at 100cm now so it’s getting harder…

What else can I use for Tric with Sturgeon?

Hi. I know i'm too late but there is a red area that might be an internal infection or issue. See photo. Or it just might be where its "pinked up" from handling.
