Help with diagnosis please?
Hi All,
I'd very much appreciate help from a more experienced keeper with diagnosis of a problem please.
This fish has had the problem since last year (another one had a slight problem but seems ok now).
I treated both with malachite dips and then permanganate dips.
Please note the growths are white in colour but have been discoloured by the permanganate (I tried dabbing directly in desperation).
The white "plaster" on the head seems to be a thin film, the one on the belly seems to be swollen a little (lump).
The treatments don't seem to be helping this fish, and I'd really appreciate some help.
Steve

Could be carp pox, if it is you just need to leave it alone and it will eventually go.

Ok, thanks all.
It's a little worrying since I have some young Koi in there.
I'll stop torturing the poor chap with permanganate dips then.
Cheers
