Sorry to hear of the loss of fish steve. Fingers crossed for you that all is well.
If its any help mate. Give a couple another scrape and scope after about a week.
I have noticed this year on here.
That a lot of people have had a follow up of parasite illness. RS. Was one. Flukes then Costia. Me with flukes then white spot. I think it boils down to the fish being weakend. And parasites are taking advantage. While the fish are weak.
So just keep an eye on them mate
All the best with it steve
Fred

Looks like costia and a lot of it but it’s not very clear. Other one would be chilodonella.
Either way there a couple of treatment options.
Pp for 4 hours or malachite green and formalin.
If you go the Pp route first leave it a few days and a good water change before doing mg&f treatment. Use the separate bottles not the mix.

I'm assuming you mean x400, if not x400 then ignore this post.
By looking at the actual parasites you can't tell what they are due to picture quality.
But by concentrating on one of them and watching how it moves through the water you can get an idea.
I'm definitely no expert as I've only seen Costia once myself (and even that could have been a misdiagnosis), but at 7 seconds in on your video one comes into view from the left at about 1/4 the way up the screen, and it darts across the screen until going off the right hand side, it almost "flickers" as it darts across.
That is exactly how Costia looked on my scope, and if you watch videos of Costia you will see that's how they move when they're not going round in circles.

Done the pp today bud, initially thought it was chilodonella but it didn't move like it, sent the pics and video to my supplier and he was sure it was Costia also consulted John and Fred on here and thought just don't it before I lost any more fish, it broke so quick the water isn't a million miles off perfect believe it or not, I'm sure it's all related to that settlement chamber I had, just glad it's gone now

Damn I wish I'd seen that vid earlier ... the magnification or focus wouldn't matter ... there's only one parasite moves like that ... you may have others too but that vid is "hoaching" with Costia ... no other parasite moves as fast or spins like that ...
Hope you've got it sorted ... I'm amazed no-one else confirmed that earlier than 4x pages in ...
That's well over x200 mag (looks like x400 that's why you can't focus easily) ... any other parasite would be at least 10x bigger and stationary in comparison ...... fingers crossed stuffy! ...

Thanks that's great I've kept koi for a long time now but never got to the point of using a microscope , stupid I know just been treating with anti bacterial and sealing the wound and had pretty good success rate of fixing issues but now I realize it was half assed and I should have done it properly but I guess I didn't feel confident enough, I wasn't a member on here so was just on my own, but now it's great with the help from everyone on here I'm just kicking myself that I never tried harder sooner as maybe I could have saved some amazing fish I've had in my collection , thanks again , Steve

A bit of advice I would give you is stick to x200 mag ... it'll be a lot easier to focus.
Here's how I do scrapes ... you may find it interesting ... take or leave what you want from it ... https://www.koiforum.uk/koi-health-d...us-scrape.html

Thanks it's always good to have any advice and I want to do the best I can, I think everyone has a way of doing things and all are slightly different , so I try to get as much advice as I can when I'm not 100 percent certain what I'm doing,

Just one thing to point out....
Not sure if you was serious about the thunderstorm or whether you were jokingly referring to the pond being a cauldron with all the air, but they say never to treat the pond when there is a thunderstorm brewing.
I assume due to pressure / oxygen etc, although you clearly had plenty of oxygen.
Also for any newbies who've not used PP before.... Until you're experienced using it (I'm not), never try and "chase" the colour. There's some disaster stories of first time users chasing the colour due to getting advice from people who know how to PP, but they are too inexperienced to know exactly what shade they're trying to achieve.
This example is a total disaster and shows exactly what not to do:
