Koi off food and white spot on nose...
We lost a fish to a heron a couple of months ago and for a while the others became super timid and cautious. A few weeks ago we added four more fish. Now all bar one of the originals are eating well and back to their sociable selves. The other is still not eating (at least, not as far as we can tell). He's moderately sociable with the other fish but won't come near us in the way he used to. I haven't netted him to examine, but have kept an eye on his behaviour. It's not deteriorating... No flashing or clamped fins. He's swimming around just fine.
He's always had quite protruding eyes and leans very slightly to one side. The other fish (old and new) all appear absolutely fine.
The water parameters are pretty good... zero nitrite/nitrate, low ammonia (nt labs test is yellow), pH is reasonably constant although the average has increased over the last week as I've dosed with bicarb to raise the KH (currently five drops). pH this morning is 7.54.
Yesterday I noticed a white spot on his nose... I've tried to capture on a photo and vid (which I'll try to post later).
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
Happy to try netting/scraping him but don't want to cause unnecessary stress.
