Any advice on what this is on my fish?
Afternoon all . I've had one of my fish jump out of the water a couple of weeks ago . All was fine and hes happy again . However all down one side of him is now furry . I'm going to purchase a large container to separate him untill hes been doctored . I treated the fish for cotton wool fungus just by using a blagdon fungus treatment but after 6 days now theres no change and the fluff is getting longer . It's not spreading it's just doen one side of the fish . .
Any ideas ?

My opinion is it needs sedating and cleaning up and a sealer put on.
Or maybe a salt bath and rub the salted water in.
I am not an expert mate on this subject maybe someone else can help, but that is what I would do.John

Cheers for the reply mate . Read a bit more into it and did what you suggested. I cleaned him off with cotton buds too . Seems to be happy swimming around . Hopefully removing it all and the salt bath will help . I'll keep an eye out over next few days 😉👍
