Growth
Was looking at the fish up close through the window today and I have noticed a bit of growth on one at it’s tail and it has a few bumps around it’s mouth. Any ideas and treatments? I have no experience in treating koi

i don't think its contagious to the other fish, I also understood it couldn't be cured, but ive seen some chemical treatment that said on it for use on carp pox, cant remember what it was, might have been acriflavine or c.t.
I have trimmed some off of fins before with a scalpel blade, and then just sealed the wound, some of it came back though.

hi scott. i have had about 8 with carp pox over the last 3 years. cold weather brings it on. then when the weather warmed up. my fish lost it. this year touch wood none have got it again. i took my fish out of the main pond and put them in the qt with heat. that sorted them. also the fish that got the carp pox where all one to two year old. they say they grow out of it as they get older. touch wood my fish have not had it this year.
