Pond Health Check Needed - Fluke found and treated - Derby
Does anyone know or can recommend someone to do a pond health check in the Derby area, we have lost two fish in 3 weeks and after the first one passed we bought a microscope and eventually found Fluke, during this time another fish started looking thin and struggling to breath, on finding Fluke we treated with Fluke Solve a few days ago, but it was to late for the sick fish which passed this morning.
I am not sure if we are missing something or we are not doing something correctly but I want to be sure that we are on the right track before we lose any more fish.
I am looking for someone in the Derby area to do a pond / fish health check, any recommendations, offers

Roy, give Lee Burrows a call he lives in Surrey but I think he will travel to wherever.
If you Google - Lee Burrows Aquatic Consultants his number is on his website. He knows his stuff so worth a call even if it is just for advice.

Just done another scrape on the dead fish, couldn't find fluke but we did find lots of these moving around, any ideas on what they are, or or they just nothing, sorry about the quality
https://youtu.be/qIpl7sdmKvM
The symptoms on this fish were, weight loss, no apatite, increased mucus, gasping for air, floating still until disturbed

Too blurred to say 100% but by the way they are moving about I would be inclined to say they are Trichadina.

It was too blurred I thought to make a decision. Would make sense with the end results though. Think I need to clean my glasses or phone screen lol

Just spoken with Lee and he thinks Chilodonella.
We have just treated with Fluke Solve so need to wait
Lee says
"Five clear days and you should be ok FMG two doses 5 days apart with a 15% water change in between treatments and plenty of oxygen going in"

Looks like chilodonella to me. Symptoms fit and it usually has its buddy costia kicking around somewhere.
Formalin and malachite green 2% needs to go in ASAP after a goodvwater change. Turn off uv.
