Is this finrot?
This bugger jumped out the pond, no idea how long it was out of the pond as my wee girl noticed, looks to me like finrot on the tailfin.
I have tested the water and there is a touch of nitrite, so could suggest why he jumped.
All other fish appear to be fine and have been swimming and eating as normal, except this one, it has still been eating, jist not as much as usual, and not quite as active.
Obviously my first port of call will be to do small water changes every day til i get the nitrite down but should i also head out tomorrow and get some finrot meds?

Without a better pic it's hard to say, but it *could* be stress/damage from him/her thrashing around on the ground, and basically bruising it.

In perfect water conditions stuff like that tends to sort itself out.
I'd only treat of it deteriorates.
Not sure what the modern concensus is on salt baths but years ago that's what I used to do. Not sure if it actually does much more than just satisfy me that I've tried to help.
In the old days I also used to put anti sceptic cream like savlon on injuries like that with success.... Probably frowned upon these days.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
