    Lightbulb Problem with my koi

I have had to isolate one of my koi. It has lesions or growths of some kind. I’m quite worried and unsure what to do.
    Any help would be appreciated

Looks like a bad case of carp pox which has caused a bit of fin rot. There may be secondary infection going on too.

A QT would probably help with salt and acriflavine, heat and a buddy for company. Monitor to see if it gets better or worse

I'd be tempted to sedate the koi, trim the edges with sharp scissors and scrape away the larger lesions with a new scalpel blade and then cauterise with HP or PP paste then rinse off. Then topically treat with iodine, orahesive and top coat sealer. I've treated this kind of thing before though but it is quite a daunting prospect if you haven't done it before.

Is it just on the fins that are affected?

    Where are you based?

What are your water parameters and temperature?
