    Kusuri fluke M

Has anyone ever used kusuri fluke M and what are their thoughts on its effectiveness? I've heard it's just a weak version of Flubendazole.

Used it a few years ago Adam, think it did the job but they recon not as good as Fluke solve which is expensive.

If you have a problem try Duncans site he does the Prasi which is the same ingredients as the solve.

Suppose you could try it Adam and let us know.

ive got it in the pond at mo added 2nd dose sat as the gill fluke had hatched . fluke m is my 3rd choice , I have a new tub of flunenol ready for next time. without a doubt flukesolve is the best for me . ive only had tric once in 10 years which I'm convinced is the result of using it .

I alternate between treatments to try and prevent immunity. so many people treat blindly , its frightening which is obvious now following facebook posts

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to do a fluke treatment soon I have used Lernex, Fluke solve and Dunc's FX1 in the past. I just wondered how effective kusuri fluke M is. Like John and tinytony have said I like to mix up treatments to prevent fluke immunity. I know most treatments seem to be based on Praziquantel, Flubendazole plus a few other chemicals but my worry is cheap weak products that do nothing but waste money and increase fluke immunity. I have had great success with Fluke solve but 2 treatments for gill flukes runs at roughly £135 for my pond. Not cheap but I guess there's little cheap in this hobby full stop!!!

I used kusuri fluke P last year. 2x treatments. Got rid of them.
Good point on using differant treatments. So as not to get immune.

Yeah I've seen that on their website Laura. I think it's Praziquantel based .

Only ever used fluke solve and with great success so i cant comment on others. Ive been really lucky over the years though and have only ever treated for flukes once which was 2/3 yrs ago after i had introduced a fair few new fish.

Going back to this thread again Adam,i used Kusuri fluke m last Thurs after my koi doing a lot of flashing off food etc havnt used it for a long time but it seems to have worked for me and i have just put in a second dose though not quite as strong as first in case of any eggs.

Opened the by pass valves on the drum so it didnt take any out for 24hrs,within 3hrs of the first treatment koi improved and within 3 days no flashing so maybe it works for some as it seems to have for me.
