I'll watch this with interest Brian, as it's something I've often thought about.

Thanks guys ....happy with the way it looks i just need to make it more user friendly although its looking a bit sorry for itself atm (post winter).....nothing a lick of paint won't put right

I love your pond!, I have built mine fairly similar but not as big, i too struggle with my filter bay cover and have wondered how I can improve, so im interested in seeing the outcome.

Looking good and coming along nicely Brian I wish I'd made the door a bit bigger in my filter house as fancied a nexus but no way it will fit through the doorway
