The 2013 MKA Koi Show
This is my 'local' show....so who's coming?
Probably not as grand as the SE show last week, but still worth a visit. I'll be there on Saturday and hoping to buy a couple of koi to replenish my depleted stock!

Sunday looks the better day weatherwise, as Saturday could be a wet one
From what I've heard, it's not going to happen, licence-wise, which is a real shame. Some dealers may take koi to show what you can buy from them direct, but no sales at the show.....unless it all changes at the last minute!1630 Gallon raised pond

The only thing I`m worried about is the temperature, the ponds at 16.9 & the temp was at least 21` the last time I was at the koi collection & being indoors I cant see it dropping to our pond temperature's !!

Yes, I know what you mean. I've put my heater on to maintain 17°c for now, but still short of Ken's temperatures indoors. Seems to have cooled really suddenly this year

How depressing were talking about pond covers & heaters already ... it seems only a few weeks ago the pond was in the mid 20`s.
Last weekend I`ve turned my waterfall off & reduced the air to my retro bottom drains to help slow the temp drop my heaters set at 15`
