Essex Koi Show
well if your still buzzing after the cambridge show this last weekend. why not join us at the
Essex Section Koi Show
23rd & 24th July
10am to 5pm
There will be exhibitors showing over 250 different fish, ranging from sizes 15cm to just under a metre, plus stall holders selling pond equipment, fish based products including health and garden items.
Also an undercover craft area and a kids entertainment area.
Entrance price: £5 Adults, Children £2 (11 to 18)

Barleylands Farm, Barleylands Road, Billericay CM11 2UD - Telephone: 01268 532253
From M25 / A127
Exit at J29 onto A127 Southend bound. Exit at A176 junction for Basildon/Billericay. At the roundabout take the third exit on to South Wash Road. At the second mini roundabout turn left on to Barleylands Road. Barleylands car park is situated one mile down on the right hand side.
From A12
Exit at J16 onto B1007 towards Billericay. Drive through Billericay High Street and continue over the roundabout on to Laindon Road. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to Noak Hill Road and then take the 1st left on to Church Street. At the end of the road turm right on to Southend Road and then turn right again in to Barleylands Road. Barleylands car park is situated 1/2 mile down on the left hand side.
Train
The nearest Train Stations are Billericay and Basildon, which are equal distances from Barleylands. From both stations you can take the number 100 bus which stops outside Barleylands.
why not make it a fun day out for the wags and kids too, as after you have had your fill of koi you could visit the farm. checkout the website for more information.
Play
this would be another good place for a meet up and some koi nerding as some of our own Extreme members will be showing their koi there.

Well been over the show ground today. and all the Vats are in place and slowly being filled . the guys there have really worked hard, with still alot more to do. keep going everyone
just as an update Extreme Koi Forum have very kindly offered to sponsor my Vats. so a big thankyou to Lazerus. and i hope i can be of justice to the forum.

i could only do a half day over the Essex showground on day 3, but all the Vats are now filled, the airlines all up and plumbed together. and the electrics are being sorted.
the guys n girls are doing really well and i think we are about a day further ahead of schedule than we were last year.

well its done. all ready for tomorrow when the koi come in... as per always there is the last minute jobs to be done but nothing really, a great effort from the team. also a big thanks to Spoder and boo who also travelled down to help too.
the wet dealer MrF are
A4 Koi, Dock Koi, and LE Koi.
with two dry dealers there too one of which im sure was fuji koi (could be wrong though)
gazza what do you want pictures for....... get your lanky butt down there and see for yourself

Essex Show
I am about to leave to go to the show ground.Last night we started
having caterers and a craft turn up ready for set up.
The show has something for everyone plus more and the show layout
is better than ever so come along and see what is on offer.
Look forward to seeing you all there.

well about half the koi are there already and the other half either tonight or first thing should arrive, Benching well under way and you can tell already that ther is some teriffic Koi there.... almost legendary
It was great to see the guys from A4 koi there to set up stall and i understand that there are some really nice stuff coming for sale too.
Also Dock koi were setting up as i left and i know LE koi wont be far behind them.
i was right it is Fuji koi that are selling dry goods there and also Kusuri have a stall selling the dry goods too.
even Alan Coogan has brought koi to be shown and i think all the major awards will be a tight run competition.
see you all tomorrow.... and make sure you come and say hello, and even if you havent met me ask someone on the water team, we all know each other. just doesnt mean we talk to each other but we all know each other... lmfao

Would have loved to Mate but things have been a bit tough for the last couple of days.
Hope the weather is good for you tomorrow and if you get the fish back at a reasonable time stop round for a beer.
