the only reason I trickle in is because of water levels. such as evaporation. and for the drum. also when heavy feeding starts. my trickle in rounds up to about 10% a week on heavy feeding. most of winter it is around the10% mark per week. I have always done 10% water changes a week. all year round. for the past 24 years. and I have had cba in this week for the algi. so doing a little more then normal this week.
