I have a swan 8 camera system with 6 bullet cameras which are next step up from 1080 and 2 dome cameras which are fully motorised for 360 viewing they cover front of the house, cars on driveway and garages, I also have 3 on my koi pond, I find it useful as I can check the fish from anywhere with internet connection on my mobile , It records for 30 days and has lots of features like it emails you if someone enters a specific area on each camera with can be set by yourself on each individual camera so you can ignore foot paths ect and only notifies if they are directly on your property , I got mine from Costco so it's all coverd for 5 years no quibble warranty

She was sitting right beside me last year when EZ called to say that they were going to be delivering it tomorrow (sometime in November I think) She overheard and questioned the phone call and I did say it was a QT but she never followed it up. Normally she picks up on anything like that as it sets her Spidie senses tingling LOL I'm sure she can hear a worm fart a 50m

well, I would have to say '' Yes '' I probably would be saying that. My apologies for saying '' Maaannnnn uuuuuppppp ''

Thanks Anne, she is just starting to get over it and I'm just stuck in the middle of it of the throat infection bit where it's difficult to swallow which means I've had very little sleep recently.

It's amazing what some people can hear as some times they can be sitting beside you, you ask them something and you don't get a reply and other times you can be upstairs they can be down stairs and you whisper something that you wouldn't expect to be heard outside of the room let alone downstairs and they hear what you say

Arhhhh, the complexity of a woman's hearing, or not hearing as the case maybe.

I just call it selective hearing

Differnet words spoken at the same intensity and volume travel differently, for example.

Have you put the bins out? ...... ???????

Do you want to go shopping? .... Yes, yes, yes

Years ago we had our car vandalised on our driveway by 3 pissed up girls..
We had it all on CCTV and duly phoned the police..
They took the video away and came back to us with various excuses.
Main excuse you cant make them out as its not clear BS came the reply as our daughter named them all.
Anyway they still wouldnt do anything so our daughter sorted them a few mths later..

Anyway the police where more inclined about the overall area of the video catchment..
We where told that we had to sort the camera so it only recorded to our boundary and not beyond.
Infact they came back weeks later to see if we had sorted it....

Seems to be a definite answer.

Record your own property only and you should be OK.

    Yep....
Make sure the top edge of your lens doesnt go past your boundary inc the neighbours
So basicall you have the top of your fence at the top of your viewing....

Or wait until you get a complaint and then register as a CCTV operator, problem solved
