    Evo auto feeder

Hi was wondering if anyone has had experience of the evolution aqua auto feeder currently available at £119, don’t really want a feeder with a big hopper on view, so this one is a contender
Think I could hide this one a bit more secretly
    Thanks
    Ian

I looked at this in the past.

I'm easily wound up by bullsh*t advertising, especially EA's, which I think most here already know lol.

It comes with plastic fixing pegs so it can be mounted "anywhere" pond-side.

And the promotional videos show it on a curved rock at the side of the pond.

It would therefore be reasonable to assume it could be mounted on a rock.... but no, the pegs supplied are for mounting into Soil.

    lol. is it noticeable?

Maybe I'm just jealous cos they make loads of money off the back of it and if I sold products and advertised like they do I'd get done in no time!

ive had one of the square aqua forte koi pro feeders for about 3 years with no issues,it was used when i bought it,works like the evo in that it flicks pellets out, thats the thing that annoyed me as it sounds like a machine gun when it does, ive recently replaced with a superfish one and it was so quiet i didnt think it was working at first lol,,,,,andi Aqua Forte koi Feeder - Automatic Koi Feeders

I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the evo feed, and they’re as follows...

Dumped the entire contents in the pond.
Chute gets clogged when it rains.
There is no off button, so you have to reset all feeds and times to 0 when you bring it in to charge it, people have ended up with food all over their living rooms lol.
    Adds food at random times.

Another quality EA product by the looks of it.
