    Aquasource food your thoughts

Thinking of moving over to Aquasource food next season. I'm interested to know how fellow koi keepers have found this food. Over the last 3 years or so haven't found a food that I've been really happy with. Have used QuenI, Cuttlebrook, Vitalis, Nt labs, with varying success. But either lots of waste or with oil slick on surface when fed.
    Many thanks
    Jase

It doesn't colour my water brown for a starters. I've been using it for a while now and I've had very good growth rates this year. Waste is about the same as Coppens from what I can see. Fish seen to love it anyway.

I found it to be nothing like what was sold to me. The hi growth trashed my water and the fish didnt really like any of the others. Only the hi growth gave me a yellow brown tinge to the water though the others seemed ok. If im honest, not to put it down but i dont hold it in high regards. Theres better out there

The all season was the only one i didnt mind. My local fish place have stopped stocking it now though due to lack of sales and interest

It sounds like you don't mind buying decent food Jasec. Why don't you try saki hikari? I've tried a few koi foods and I think saki hikari balance is about the best.

What ever you choose make sure you give it a good few months for the koi to get used to it. Si you can see the positive and negatives.
