Question Food Advice Heading into Autumn (Unheated)

First year koi keeper & currently feeding Saki Hikari Balance with great results this year, good growth, low waste and the fish love it but will probably look at QK next year which is better for the wallet but I digress.

As I'm unheated and the water temp is dropping the Hikari says it's best over 18 degrees. Should I be looking for another food to get me through Autumn / early Spring or continue with it? I guess it would make sense to switch to save the Hikari for next year on the wallet?

My understanding is that high protean high growth foods are wasted at low temperatures as the fish can't digest them. I'm just about to start mixing QK multi season in with the premium mix I am currently feeding and move over to it completely within a few weeks.
    6000g in ground koi pond
    +3000g lily/Anoxic pond attached
    29 koi (40 to 65cm)
Bottom drain, Mid water & Skimmer to Drum
JBR boichamber->Blue eco 500 pump ->below surface return.
Blue Eco 240 -> Large MB -> Waterfall -> Planted Anoxic pond (25 baskets)

Thank you, this was exactly what I was thinking too. I was on the fence whether to get winter or multi season from QK.

As Pip says is your best option as can be fed down to 8 or 10 deg and easily digested.
