    Sinking food

My water temp is at 8 deg and just ran out of wheat germ so I bought some sinking food but every time I look in the nexus most of it seems to be in the easy section.
if I turn the pump off it causes the water to rise in the easy and upon restarting the lower grills in the easy are left uncovered by the micro K1 so allowing fines through.
Going back to floating may be the answer ?

hi if they are at 8c probably best not to feed them anyway,if it all getting to your filter their not eating it or your putting too much in,

They eat all the floating food in a few mins and are active.
Tried putting smaller amounts in today to see how that goes and placing in on the surface so it floats for a few mins.

    Hi

Sounds like they don,t like the New food yet !

Its not uncommon for koi to turn there nose up at a New food ,its good practice to add a little of the new food to the old until they get used to it they will eat it when there hungry enough
