Kockney Koi peaches and cream
has anyone used this and how do you rate it? i cant find the protein content written anywhere. Do the Koi go for the flavour well?
if you don't use it please post your recommendations from experience?. I will need to buy more food soon and am looking around. My koi are currently on New forest Kois own brand growth pellet and did well. i just thought i would give them something new

Peaches and cream is a great price most of the time! However don't expect any decent growth unless you feed loads of it! Have mine on medi koi this year growth and wheatgerm and they love it! They go nuts for it every time,

Peaches and cream, protein etc is chicken based if you read the detail. I only use fish food that contains ingredients that the fish would eat in the wild. Of course all fish foods have bulking agents but you can not get around those

its only going to be a derivative. i'm surprised they use chicken though. i would use whey or egg white powder if i was making pellets.
i bought a sample kilo of saki hikari and they really like that but will prob go for the orchards stuff next time im near them (there half hour away from me)

Fat lad 194 peaches and cream is a load of rubbish wouldn't waste my money on the stuff
You should see a big difference when you start using queni koi
Only thing I would suggest is buy small and often as unless you are using lg amounts of food it will start to deteriorate after opening

I bought 6kg as it's cheaper. I believe it's in 3 2's so should be ok. As soon as it comes I'll ditch the P&C

Just my input on Peaches and cream, when i first started keeping Koi, i started to use it but literally from day one, the Koi were not really interested in it and i ended up netting out around 90% what i fed them! I do know a few who use it and seem to get on well with it but as stated in earlier post, it does make water a touch cloudy! If i remember, think i ground it all down and mixed it in with the wild bird food i feed and the birds lapped it up!!

With regards large quantity of pellets I read a koi pellet manufacturer suggested freezing the pellets and only defrosting a weeks worth at a time to keep the pellets at their best,If I find the comment I'll post up the link to it.

They may like it but it's a bit like putting Asda petrol in a Ferrari
Have a look at the ingredients and nutritional values then look at the queni food you will get a shock
