Well it’s warming up again, forecast for maybe 30°+ Monday onwards?, having said that we have had some cold nights of late (single figures) so it’s more like late Autumn/early Winter,

    Outside in the open @ 1300 today it’s 27.3°c & 38% RH, in the shade it’s 22.7°c.
The pond has suffered a bit with cold nights, & me forgetting to close the window & door, but it’s still above 20° currently 21.7°c whilst the air temp in the polytunnel is 28.7°c, was 30°+ before opening the ventilation!

All Koi doing well, No problems & looking towards plotting & planning for cooler temps in a month or so?

    Stay Lucky

Another gorgeous morning here with blue skies and warm sunshine. Pleasant temperatures to start the day but it will soon become another hot one into this afternoon with only very light winds. Another fine and very warm evening to come with a clear night. Similar tomorrow, but some cloud approaches with maybe some showers.

Current temp is 16.4°c and the pond is on 22°c. Koi loving the sunshine too!

Another dry morning with sunny spells, though a fair amount of cloud too and a cooling breeze. It will remain dry again today with further sunshine and feeling pleasantly warm this afternoon. A dry night ahead with the forecast of a little bit of rain for tomorrow.

Current temp is 17.4°c and the pond is on 20.7°c.

    The Daily pond temp thread

The cooler weather of late seems to be taking its toll on the pond temperature as it is slowly falling sadly. After a cold night last night it has been a lovely day with long sunny periods and feeling warm in the sun with calm winds.
Cooling off now though as the sun is loosing its strength as some cloud is coming in from the west.
Cool and cloudy tomorrow with some patchy rain.

Current temp is 17.3°c and the pond is on 17.1°c. Koi still all feeding well and looking super healthy.

Well it’s been hectic, here old central heating out new one in, with the associated problems, immediately followed by Family come to stay, visit here there & everywhere? Not had time to think really!
The weather has been good though, long spells of sunshine, & the occasional short shower ( we still need some decent rain)

Outside in the open it’s 19.6°c @ 0953, no Rh ( unit needs batteries) in the shade it’s 14.4°c, in the polytunnel is 23.9°c we have had some single figure night temps, last night was down to 2°c? So my pond for the first time for months (again) has dropped below 20° currently sitting @ 19.9°c so will probably climb back up again with the sun forecast for this weekend?
Koi still on five feeds a day & as usual they are ravenous!, I have started to include some wheat germ food the get them ready for Autumn/Winter!

    Stay Lucky

The generally dry weather continues with pleasantly warm days but some chilly nights too which knocks the pond temp somewhat. Today has dawned dry and sunny again although it will cloud over through the day. Warm again but not as lovely as yesterday here.

Current temp is 13.1°c and the pond is on 17.7°c.
Koi all happy I’m pleased to see and feeding well.

Well, it’s been a warm weekend with a beautiful day on Saturday and a bit of rain yesterday. Today is dawning with a fair bit of cloud cover and fairly warm. It should remain dry for much of the day, but rain will arrive by evening. Rain will clear for a time overnight and then return by dawn tomorrow with some gusty winds.

Current temp is 12.8°c and the pond is on 17.5°c.

Visited the Koi show Sunday just gone, didn’t buy any new koi! (Will power)
Outside in the open it’s 16.3°c & 92% RH, The weather has been sunny for a long time, with little rain, but finally we have had a little bit more proper rain, & are promised LOTS within this week?

The polytunnel is holding @ 17.8°c (air) @ 10:45 this morning & with on off rain & heavy overcast outlook.
The pond recovered after its minor dip last week, to currently 20.1° c (water) now. (8,000 UK gallons)
    In the shade it’s 16.2°c.
Koi still ravenous! On five feeds a day still.

    Stay Lucky!

Been a while since last post (unwell) we are catching up on our rain quota? Been raining (fine stuff mostly) for roughly two weeks now! The night temperatures have continued to dip low (single to low double figures) therefore we can safely say Summer is over? Forecasts are for more rain & high winds.

    Outside in the open it’s 14°c & 83%RH @ 1515 this afternoon! In the shade 12.6°c.
The polytunnel has helped keep temperatures from plummeting by nights, so the pond is still @ 17.2°c & koi feeding well, three feeds a day now on mixed wheat germ & staple! (Air temp monitor in tunnel, needs new batteries?)

    No other problems!

    Stay lucky

Well we may have caught up with our rain quota’s! Today it’s not raining (so far) @ 11:40.

Certainly getting colder at night now central heating is now on, I see forecasts of snow up north? & the next few days the temperature is expected to drop to single figures in the day?

Outside in the open it’s 15.2°c @ 71% Rh & virtually no wind, in the shade it’s 12.7°c.
The polytunnel is all closed up & is sitting @ 18.7°c & the pond is holding @ 15.4°c, koi still searching for more food, as I have been cutting back the quantity, but still on three feeds a day, mixture of staple & wheatgerm with garlic.
    No problems (fingers crossed)

    Stay Lucky guys.
