Bright & breezy day, quite a few strong gusts too, clouds scudding then brief rays of sunshine, then back to grey! The forecast is for getting colder starting Monday, with a chance of Snow?
Outside in the open it’s 11.9°c & 71% RH, in the shade (sic) it’s 10.8°c. Inside the polytunnel it’s been warming up over the last few days, currently 13.6°c, & the pond has crept back up to 9.0°c,
The Koi went mad when I went in today, came rushing up for food, (I hope they don’t think it’s Spring yet) especially if the forecast is right!

A damp start this morning with some patchy drizzle about. The rain will gather itself towards midday with a short spell of more persistent rain moving through. It will become drier and brighter later. A mild start to the day but becoming cooler behind the rain band.
Current temp is 7.7°c and the pond is on 12.4°c.

It’s another cold morning but temperatures are above freezing now and any remaining snow/ice from yesterday is slowing thawing. It will be another chilly day although temperatures will be up on those of yesterday. It should remain mostly dry although an odd shower can’t be ruled out. Dry, cloudy and frost-free tonight.
Current temp is 1.4°c and the pond is on 12.7°c.

A bit raw the last few days, it tried to snow yesterday, but failed, with just a tiny bit of hail, very frosty overnight the last week or so, they say it might warm up by the weekend?
Outside in the open @ 12:20pm is 1.7°c 89% RH, in the shade it’s 1.5°c. The pond although not heated, is reasonably stable, within my polytunnel, it is dropping very slowly, so no great fluctuations,
Currently the Air temp, in the tunnel is 5.6°c & the pond is today @ 7.8°c, only in the last few days, my Koi are not so energetically looking for food when I walk in? They get a very small portion of sinking food about twice a week now. This feeding will probably stop altogether in the next few days?

Current temp is 7.2°c and the pond is on 12.3°c.

Today's high was 1C, but last night was around -5C. I'd guess an average over the last 24 hours would be around -2.5C.
Nearby Lake is frozen over.
Pond still hanging onto 4C and smaller Koi came up for food when I lifted the bubblewrap cover. Biggest 2 Koi huddled on the pond floor looking almost comatose..

Just a very light dusting of snow overnight here and skies are beginning to brighten just now. There is a cold wind from the NE and there maybe an odd wintry shower through the day. Otherwise, it will be dry with some sunny spells. Cold tonight with a frost.
Current temp is 0.1°c and the pond is on 12.7°c.

Weather is very cold hear at Coventry. Was planning to start the fishless cycle tomorrow but I'm not sure yet if I suspend that for the next weekend. Temperature will rise considerable then. I will just fill the pond in this week and will start filter, pump and all next weekend, My ammonia, and the Pure Pond is ready to be added.

Back to the cold conditions this morning with a slight frost, although temperatures are rising now as cloud is spreading in from the west. Today will see a lot of cloud and some outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected by this afternoon. It will be rather chilly again, although slowly becoming milder with a frost free night to come.
Current temp is 0.3°c and the pond is on 12.3°c.

Overnight rain has cleared and skies are clear just now and it’s fairly cool, but no frost. This morning will be bright with sunny spells but cloud will tend to increase. The afternoon will see that process continue with a rather cloudy end to the day. Temperatures will be near average with light winds.
Current temp is 3.3°c and the pond is on 12.5°c.

It’s been a windy night with some heavy rain. The rain has now cleared for the time being but it is still very blustery. Today will be a breezy day but with some sunny spells but the chance of some rain moving back in later. It is reasonably mild but not feeling it in the wind.
Current temp is 5.3°c and the pond is on 12.7°c.

Windy & wet last few days, we need the rain, as the weatherman said January, saw 50% of what we normally get?, again mild for the time of year.
Outside in the open it’s 6.7°c & 81% RH @ 1300 today, in the shade it’s 6.6°c.
In the polytunnel it’s 10.2°c, yesterday in the sun it made 18°+ so the pond is slowly climbing again, currently 8.9°c, no feed for a week & Koi gathering into their winter “hanging mid water” positions, with the occasional foray about, just looking for food?

A breezy start but nothing out of the ordinary with cloudy skies, fairly mild and dry conditions. Rain is expected to soon arrive though and it will be wet for a while this morning with winds picking up. It will remain very windy into this afternoon but the rain should become more showery. A mild day.
Current temp is 9.1°c and the pond is on 12.6°c.

A dry morning with a fair bit of cloud but some clear spells too. It’s a bit chilly but no frost. Today will be a dry day with sunny spells at times and not feeling too bad with light winds. Dry and chilly tonight with some clear skies but we should just about escape a frost.
Current temp is 3.0°c and the pond is on 12.6°c.
