Safe wood paint-pond cover frame
Hi. Just making a new wooden frame for pond cover and wondering what is a good pond safe and easy to apply product for protecting wood that doesn’t require undercoat and top coat (assuming there is one).
Thanks

P2 Supersealis fish friendly, but it’s not cheap. I don’t bother staining the cover frame, as the high humidity under the polycarbonate completely saturates the wood and I’m not sure what benefit staining the wood will have in those conditions. I just do the outside faces for aesthetic purposes.

Thanks Mark. That’s the answer then. Just what I’d rather do.
