Just had a quick look through can't find it either, freddy might remember it.
It's been a long running thread sleeper pond build.

Looks to me like a Draco on an Evolve filter, number of questions,
- Cleaning, is it mains pressure or pumped from the clean side?
- Have you pressure washed the screen?
- Have you checked the Float Switch, they have a tendency to gum up and not drop to initiate a clean.
- Mine will push the water down the overflow when it has a hissy.
- you say the mesh is clean, it could be restricted due to a bio film build up.
- when it cleans, are you initiating the clean by the button or it it the Float Switch initiating the clean?
You need to get the pond and filter full to the correct levels before running the drum, if the filter is empty, you clean the drum, water flows into the filter, pond level drops and triggers the float switch, as the pond level has dropped the water in the drum will not tell the Float Switch to turn off and will eventually stop cleaning, pushing water down the waste.

Some answers.
It’s a pump that feeds the spray bar from the clean side.
Yes - it’s been pressure washed and chemically cleaned.
Float lifts rather than drops - it’s pump fed system and not gravity fed - but yes, when the water level rises, it triggers the rotation and spray bar clean.
The clean is initiated by the float switch.
Your last statement is accurate for a gravity fed system but not a pump fed system.
I drained the entire evolve, and filled it back up again via the fed pump, didn’t turn the controller on, the water kept rising and then started dumping it. Turned the feed pump off.
Then drained half the water in the evolve. Turned the controller on, then the feed pump. Water started to rise which triggered the float valve and the cleaning cycle. The cleaning stopped the water from being dumped, but it times out if it runs for too long, which is exactly whet happens. When it stops, the water rises and starts to dump the water. The float get triggered but the controller has a rest period of 2 minutes before it cleans again, by then, the waste water barrel is over flowing (the waste water is stored for veg patch/flower beds so it’s stored in a drum).

Ok then, pump fed, so it’s the pumped water that is forcing the water to waste, I’m assuming then it is gravity return, if not then pumped return, which leads me to think the problem is with the return, any valves closed that should be open? If it’s pumped return is the return pump working?
Wish I was closer, love issues like this.

What lph pump is being used to feed the drum? Is the water level in the evolve getting high or is it as if nothing is getting through the drum to the rest of the filter?

Ah sorry just re read the post above mine.
Where the water goes from the drum to the evolve, have you checked that for blockages? I can’t see it being a screen issue if you’ve jet washed and cleaned it with acid

Depends, if it’s taking enough water when cleaning it will lower the water in the chamber, lowering on both clean and dirty sides of the drum, once cleaning stops it will stop taking water and start filling up again.
Another thing, the drum is rotating properly when cleaning isn’t it?

Yes, the drum is rotating properly.
You make a good point actually, the spray bar uses water from the clear side, essentially lowering the water level in the drum. When it stops spraying, the water level rises beyond the float switch and then dumps it.
Will check for blockages between three drum and jap mats...
