G4 sealer
Hi all,
I have had a leak for about 2 years now somewere around my skimmer hole, The water stops just below it & I lose about an inch a week till it gets to this point... I have drained it about 5 inches below where it normally stops and cant see any holes or cracks in the fibreglass, I was wondering if I could paint some kind of sealer like G4 over fibreglass & all around that area ?

TommyTomo,
I used Antel pond paint on my concrete pond (see link). It is water based and can be thinned slightly. Cures even with a bit of dampness around. Thinning it allows it to flow more allowing it to enter cracks etc. After using it on the pond I used it as a quick fix on a neighbours flat fibreglass roof, lasted around 5 years. The paint is a two pack so you can keep some for later by not mixing it all together. Handy if you can take the time to give it more than one coat. I actually sprayed on a thin coat as the first coat to get in any nooks and crannies.
The key to success with a pond paint is preparation, everything should be spotless and dry if possible.
