Turn pump off, close the inlet and outlet valves, stick the cleaning pipe into the eazy section.
Then drain 1/3 water from the bio section via the small tap.
Then get your jet wash nozzle in there and stir all the crap up.
Empty the remainder of water from the bio side via small tap and it should come out black.
Once empty leave the small tap open and rinse it through by lifting the cleaning pipe out of the eazy section.
Once bio section is completely drained open all valves and turn everything back on again and you should find 90% of the muck has gone.

Looked up GoPros and Yi 4k following your earlier posts.
Seems the Yi 4k isn't waterproof without a waterproof casing.
Looks like the Hero 5 black is the best value for money out of them all for what you get.
Do a lot of snorkelling on holidays and stuff so it would be ideal for that, and obviously for the pond, but still not sure whether the amount of use will justify the price. If it doubled up as a quality compact camera I'd have one like a shot, but from what I've been reading they don't quite match up to a quality camera for stills.

Brilliant Compliment....
I don't think you can get a much better compliment from a "non-Koi" person than I did yesterday.
Gazing into the pond he looked at my Doitsu Ochiba and said "Oh look, has that one got a leaf stuck on its head"
Well, for anyone who doesn't already know, the name Ochiba translates as "autumn leaves falling on water", which aptly describes the brown pattern on the grey blue body.
Mine isn't quite the quality that Kase produces (getting one from him next year ), but good enough to have fooled someone into thinking its a real autumn leaf!
Here's a quick snap:

The depth of her colouration changes with the seasons and she tends to look brighter in the winter, as per this snap from last winter:

Would never refuse a pic John...ever!
Wish I bought this one from Kase, the one with more silver:
I was too slow.
Worse still, it wasn't even sold to a punter, it had been for sale for some time and ended up being sold trade to another Dealer.
Edit: Another breeder who produces amazing Doitsu Ochiba is that Polish farm, Jos Aben at Yoshikigoi I think:
Want to see the development of Doitsu Ochiba? Yoshikigoi Shows it...Last edited by RS2OOO; 15-09-2019 at 06:57 PM.
