But what the pic doesn't show is the trees are at a 45 degree angle from the 125mph winds!

I've only used medikoi health but I've seen a couple colours not looking like they did so might have to step up the natural foods a bit
never had the want for massive fish as impressive as they are just want colour in my pond. I know you have said before some where but what pellet food are you feeding to help with the focus on skin

I use osw bud it's got good balance of everything they need and doesn't break the bank, I think spiralina is the main ingredient to help with colour that's what I've been feeding the weirdo too and he's doing well

I am trying currently feeding hikari wheatgerm and JPD shogun. Really working to be honest. Over the moon with results I have always fed growth foods.

Will never feed them again unless it's a grow on full of tosai.

It's all trial and error fella each pond is different. Just finding the balance of what works best for you. Different dealers different breeders different set ups water etc etc

    Always learning.

Yes totally agree I used to use peaches and cream which gave good colour results but the waste was terrible my nephew uses it as it's cheaper than osw but his water is always mucky and he has issues with string alge constantly I mix meal worm with the pellet and a variety of treats silkworm pupae, muscles prawns ect and greens too peas and iceberg lettuce

I like throwing a little mix in mealworm bread pellets ect . Just had a look at osw on ebay it's cheaper than what am paying at the moment so I'll give it a go see what happens. 9.99 for 1kg am paying 15 for 750g . I know that's cheap to some gear out there but is it really needed to buy the most expensive. Just seen tetra on top of a top 10 food list for koi and I've never liked any of they stuff ???

How do you find they do with the lettuce. I am sure I read somewhere iceberg lettuce wasn't good for them and to go with cabbage.

I could be wrong though read that much crap over the years.
