All of your fish are so photogenic Dave, not seen a single one I wouldn't have in my pond, a great collection mate.

If you look at them from above you can't see them!

Not odd at all I am exactly the same! If I could only look at Koi side on I don't think I would keep them. Just my opinion.

Same here.
Don't like most Koi from the side.
Even when I buy a new Koi, if I see it from the side whilst its in the bag and it has an ugly side profile it will bug me forever even though the pond has no window.... Just knowing its ugly annoys me lol!

Whilst I somewhat agree, but its nice to see the depth of the fish, plus the added bonus of checking them over for any issues, that'sw my pounds worth anyway

Yes I totally get it. Each to their own.
Just not my cup of tea. I know when my fish ain't happy.
Lucky I have never had many issues over the years.

Not odd at all I have no window I think the symmetry of koi is as important as colour gives good indication of health and growing rate, just thought would be nice to sit with steak and beer and watch the fish, installed a 3 ft window in my nephews pond and it worked well, your fish are beautiful the you obviously have a good eye for quality

Not kind words Dave. Well deserved. There stunners.
So what is the knowledge of getting rid of the yellowish. To a nice white. Lol.
I have a couple of fish that have yellowish heads. A bit like your shiro s.

As previous temp pond was heated I was feeding only growth food high protein. This can cause the yellow tinge in white Koi. That and a little stress of moving house.
Back on KM Advantage and wheatgerm diet with only natural proteins is my key. I don't think it will ever be pure white again but shes a big friendly greedy Koi.

It's a beauty mate. Thanks for info. I am feeding queni jap premium growth. So that might have something to do with it.
Plus my very hard water.

Summer BBQ day.... The before pictures.
Covers about to come off the pond, but might have to go back on when things start getting messy!
