Submersible uv positioning
On my jbr bio chamber in the side there’s a 2 inch spigot welded on which o use as a drain but never used over this drain there’s grid which runs full width of chamber it covers both inlets if I put a 2 inch to 1 inch rubber boot on here which I have could I put my submersible uv in it rather than it being in dirty side of drum

Biofilter bugs (nitrosomonas and nitrobacter) are photophobic and they will function at reduced "efficiency" if they are exposed to daylight so biological chambers should be kept dark. UV light would be even more harmful than bright daylight.
