Funnily enough I already posted a link to these in another thread discussing how much people are prepared to pay for a Koi, and the fact that Joe public just assume if they have a Koi beyond 12" it's worth big money.
There was a similar eBay listing recently asking £5000 for a handful of mongrel Koi.

I'm not sure what makes people believe they will sell at those prices, I guess they're looking at high end dealers selling similarly sized Nisai / Sansai and without knowledge of what makes a quality Koi, they price them up the same.

love the fact it says on first one that collection only and prefereably someone who knows about koi,surely anyone who knows about koi would know they arent worth £50 never mind £3000,thinking of putting my 75cm common carp on at £15000 stating its a rare one lol,,,,andi

ive actually got 2 lol,but the others only about 40cm,the big one also hand feed aswel,i think theyve just made a mistake in price and forgot the dot after the £30 lol,,,,andi
