    Avoid this seller on ebay

Ordered sodium bicarb and a UV tube from "Bioaquatek" in Stoke and never received them, opened a case with Ebay and getting a refund.

Messaged the seller but heard nothing at all so avoid this guy.
People like this annoys me and fair does,Ebay are very helpful in these matters.

Thanks for the heads up John.

    Name and shame.

I'm surprised there isn't a sticky thread on here by now with dodgy traders or sellers etc. Maybe someone should suggest it to the powers that be?

What was his feedback like , John ? You can sometimes spot the dodgy ones , if they have poor , or low scores . I try and stick to a few reputable sellers for most things and find them very reliable for the most part . And like you say , ebay (and Amazon for that matter) are good at refunding , when things go wrong .

Ive noticed there are a lot more sellers based in China , lately - you`ve got to be aware of this , if you want something quickly , as delivery can take longer . I`ve also had a couple of items that wern`t as described . On the fli[p side , you can get some great bargains from them, as long as your careful

I am not slagging Ebay Hippo I use them a lot and hardly have an probs.
Most of his feed back was ok but a few had probs with delivery and communication,I usually read that first before buying but didn't in this instance.

I have noticed a lot from China on there and you have to watch import duties etc,but within 5 mins of asking for Ebay's help the money was reinbursed how good is that.

Agree with going on high feed back rating on ebay and also for quicker delivery times go for UK or local sellers if possible.

I should do really but I'm useless with technology and even after years of selling on ebay I still have to get my missus to download picture from camera to computer

I agree , John . Ive used ebay for years and like using it . Like you , I havnt had many problems , and mostly its been when selling stuff and waiting for people to collect and letting you down that's been the issue . You don't seem to get the same protection when your selling , as when buying . You cant even leave bad feedback - and you do get some right w**nkers

So only a buyer can leave bad feedback? Wish I'd have known that when I bought the last Eazy Pod off of some bell end on ebay and another company that never got back to me when I called them and left a message with someone

ebay is ok if it is treated correctly there will always be one or two that try it on check the feedback first most businesses on there have there contact details you can always ask ebay for clarification on whether they are based in the uk and not from china they are looking at this now so people get the product from the uk if it states uk

Is that the one with a really long battery life - only needs charging every 2 weeks or something like that?
