    Float switch wiring

Had a refurb this week and took my float switch off but can’t remember how to rewrite it. The wires on the float switch are black brown and blue can somebody please advise how to wire it back into my pump.
    Many Thanks

There's a good video on youtube called 'fit a float switch on your pond! Don't let your pond empty!' That goes through exactly how to fit them.

I'm assuming you had it connected via a joint box or something similar and not directly to your pump?

What is the make of the float switch?

Normally I would go for brown as live, blue as neutral and black as the switch line but without seeing it or knowing any more about it I wouldn't risk those connections as it may be wired as live and two switch lines, one for high level and the other for low level?

A photo might help if you can upload one?
