    Hi all ,can you use ct1 as you would gold label stuff for putting in a pond window..

    i used to swear by HA6 but when i put my windows in new pond it didnt work,i got some ct1 and wont use anything else again,brilliant,albeit very sticky lol,andi

    I cannot say if its toxic, but for the job you have its dogs bo.....ks. I use it a lot at work, even works under water.

    i tried twice with the HA6 john and both times it leaked,used 12 tubes altogether and was gutted as always swore by it,even at £3 a tube worked out at £36 so bought 2 tubes of CT1 at £10 tube and after doing both windows i still have a tube left and it worked first time,,,,andi

    I have always used ha6 though I havnt got a window so never used it on one.

    me too but i dont know if its changed or what but didnt seem as sticky,did both bottom drains and skimmer and inlets in it so hopefully theyre ok,,,,andi

    Hi Steve,looked at your plan but cant help much as I am not too familiar with pump fed.
    Are you using 4ins between the tanks?
    Like the vortex as that is what I use on my grow on,but I use a small shower after it could you not do that?
    Would your heater be too long to go in sideways? Ie diameter of the drum.
    Thing you would need to watch with the heater is that it is not on when you drain for cleaning.
