Water question
I have a constant change on my pond (1.500 UK gal ) , could I use the water that coming out of the pond constantly, for the needs of another pond that would be used for koi fry. This second pond is something like a mud pond, it does not have filtration because any form of filtration kills younger ones while they are very small. So I came up with this idea (usin same water twice) to reduce costs .. Is it worth it? is this water that coming out of main pond worth setting up about 50 m of pipe in the ground ( that is the distance between these two ponds) btw i would not use pump for this water ,gravity would do the job ..

Don't see a problem with it and its definitely something I'd do and in fact I have done it before with Goldfish fry as I would prefer to use mature water over tap water.
I assume your gravity will work by topping up the main pond which overflows into the fry pond, is that correct?
How do you then remove excess water from the fry pond without sucking them up?

Yes , from the main pond to the fry pond using gravit.
The fry pond are on the lower terrain.
Most likely, I would take excess water in the same way as from the first pond, I would make a overflow, but I do not know where to direct that water, because I do not have any drains near this pond, I have not solved this problem

Can it not just soak into the ground from the 2nd pond?
50m is a long pipe run, the bigger the better to avoid issues with it blocking or some way to access for cleaning as needed.

It is daily about 220 UK Gal of water,i believe that the land would be flooded quickly ,and I do not know how the neighbor would react

A 10% water change on a 1500g pond would be 150g/week so abour 21.5G/day why would you try and change over 100% a week??

I change nearly 40% a week and don’t think that’s excessive.
0.5 litres per minute going into 13,000 litres.
I used to run 1 lpm.

I doubt it will be a problem.
The only thing to think about is you will be in effect linking the two ponds so anything in your 1500 gallon pond will transfer to the fry pond. Be that bacteria / parasites etc.
You will need to think about a bypass for when you are treating the 1500 gallon pond.
In regards to volume to change that is entirely depending on many many things such as stock levels, feeding rates, size of fish, filter types / efficiency, turnover to name a few.
But....
I found my old pond worked best when i ran a proper controlled water filter system and it was changing in the order of 20% per day on a 3000 gallon pond. That said it was heavily stocked with some large koi (up to around 80cm).
My new pond build will hopefully be a much lower volume of water change if i can set it up right and i will not be stocking to anywhere near the same kinds of levels.
