What would you keep
I was always brought up with “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything” but I’m honest and a forum deserves difference of opinion
I personally wouldn’t keep any.
N°1 is a doitsu fish which can look stunning but the pattern (or lack of) isn’t great and the colour not so strong, generally a bit messy all over to me.
N°2 the beni looks really weak and is already breaking up, had similar with one of my own fish. Weak and breaking beni at such a small young age is not a good sign unfortunately and my guess is this fish will lose a great deal of the beni (red). By the time its sansai (3yr old) you wouldn’t believe it was the same fish pictured above. I could be completely wrong mind
If i had no choice but to keep one of them it would probably be N°1 but as i said i wouldn’t keep any, just my opinion and no hard feelings.

That's the reason I picked no,1 everyone has fully scaled but I do think different is a more appealing look for me anyway I have a doitz ochiba and few others I think they are stunning , but it's all down to personal preference , at the end of the day enjoy your hobby and stock your pond with fish you enjoy looking at, I'm sure alot of people would agree I've looked in a few ponds at individual fish and thought what were you thinking when you bought that fish but if we all liked the same thing the world would be a very boring place, and we definitely wouldn't have all the amazing choices that we have in this wonderful Hobbie , just my opinion

I wouldn't keep either of them now I am getting more fussy in my old age,no offence Mirza.
I like the head on no1 and the tail on no 2 but of I had to make a choice it would be no 1.
Don't know what the koi dealers are like in Bosnia maybe you don't have a great selection.
Hope I havnt offended you.John

We do not have koi dealers, sometimes when some friends traveling to another country they buy smal koi carp and smuggled them into the our country .. so when the fishes appear somewhere I buy everything that I think it is good and then after a couple of months I start to make a selection .. so from the whole group I bought, I picked these two as the worst
and now I find a buyer but only for one fish and for this buyer the quality of the fish he buy is not important, he just want a fish .. so I want to keep better koi for myself..

It is really a personal thing when choosing a fish as you can see from above, and if you don't have a great selection there Mirza.
I liked no 1 because of its head more so than no2,I have two kohaku with what Japanese call lipstick on their mouth and they don't them because of it but I do and I think it makes it more pleasing to the eye so it is more a personal thing.
Good luck with your choice Mirza.John
