Stress coating, I’d scrape and see what I find and go from there.

Did a scrape on Sat and struggled with microscope
Bought a mini grab camera for the microscope and it came this morning
Done another scrape and I think I have found Costia.
I have posted on the medication part of the site with a link to the video I took.
Thanks for the help

That’s good you’ll be able to treat them for it now

Glad you persevered and found this as it could have been a disaster if it was left on the assumption Carp Pox was the culprit.
Just goes to show the importance of owning a microscope.
I've certainly learned something from your threads and wish you the best of luck getting it resolved. Would be great if you can update the thread after the FMG treatment and let us know how it worked.
Your video is very clear, what microscope are you using and at what magnification?

I will update the thread as I treat.
The scope is a Brunel SP22 we had ordered the Apex Practitioner but it was out of stock and they sent this one.
There identical as far as I can tell from the pics and researching on the web.
Brunel SP22
I bought a camera (Apex Minigrab) as I was struggling looking through eyepiece.
Its on the highest magnification in the video

Been umming and arring about getting the mini grab... Think you've sold it to me, keeping eyes open for a used one on eBay.
