Do drums cope with pine needles?
My drum copes with standard deciduous leaves prety well although I do have to wash down the waste shoot/brushes reasonably frequently.
I have a friend with a pond surrounded by conifers. My initial thoughts are that a drum with internal brushes like the QK or Aqua Drum should be fine - has anyone experience of drums working on ponds that get loads of pine needles in them?
6000g in ground koi pond

I think a drum would handle pine needles, they might have to clean the waste shoot occasionally but a good quality drum would work.
