My QK drum does this as well but there is a hole there which I presumed was some sort of drain hole, it hasnít done any harm that I have noticed but if it was a sensitive area I reckon they would have sealed the unit?

Dont have a Queni drum but if you have 240 electrics in there it wont be doing any good,or any elecs in fact.
There must be wires going into the back so can you not seal them with a good silicon which should do the trick, from the wet side i mean.

I think whatís happening I will inspect a bit more but my thoughts were when it cleans water from jets hit drum surface and it lifts lid slightly runs onto and down box on drum Iíve had front off this box and thereís no way I can see water can get in there could be wrong or Iím not looking properly which knowing me could be the case

Shouldnt really leak from the lid but if it does a bit of silicone on the edge of the cover would help.
Sorry i cant help any more as i havnt got one but someone with a queni drum should be able to help.

have you taken the cover off to have a look ? where is the water coming in from ? if so is it a case of just using a sealent ?

I havenít noticed it doing it again, Iím sure I had the lid off when it happened and the more I think about it I reckon it was just water that had run down the side and around underneath. The control box seems pretty watertight
