Pond lights
I'm wanting to put some led lights under/ behind the waterfall, I'm guessing I'll need IP67 but am unsure about the quality of some offered.
Has anyone here done the same or similar? If so can you recommend certain type or brand to use?
Thanks J

I have ten of these and find them to be excellent underwater.

Hi.
just out of interest, with the lights in the pond, do you find any resultant injuries to koi which may rub / knock against them?
thanks

ive just thrown a set of blagdon ones away we bought about 10 years ago, bulbs were always blowing and the lenses always needed cleaning of algae, they lasted about 12 months in pond and then got thrown in a corner lol, only found when i was sorting garden out before imprinted concrete gets done, you have to remember fish dont have eyelids so any direct light will hit them,i would light from above,im using led daylight floods above new pond as i did on old one, andi

The fish don't bother with them other than sucking at them to get bits of food that are caught there.
I find the colour ones are much better than the plain white. The coloured ones also do white but it's a bit overpowering and the remote control allows you to alter the colour to your taste.
I've tried others in the past but these are the only ones that last and don't leak.
My lights are mounted at water level rather than on the bottom. Much nicer to look at. They are mounted with stainless screws into blocks fitted behind the liner.
I don't get any algae build up on them as I run ozone but it will easily wipe off of the lens.Profi-Drum, Nexus 220, 45 basket anoxic filter

Here's a clip I took this morning that shows the light mounting position and colours. Mounting the lights facing down makes a big difference. If you put them at the bottom of the pond you'll be blinded by them rather than seeing the koi.

Thanks for the replies. It's really just some led strips I'm after to hide behind the waterfall to get the effect at night time.
